    I've never thought a lot about what my husband does for a living or how dangerous it was.  That sounds strange, I know, since we have been married for 15 years and he's been in the same line of work the last 20.   Most people can at least visit their spouses at work.  I can not.  Most also know exactly what they do while they are away from them.  I do not.  Its not that I don't care or don't ask about his day.  I do. Everyday.   Its not that we don't talk.  We do about nearly everything.  You see my husband is one of a rare breed of men and women who work in our state prison system.  I refer to them as a rare breed because not many among us could do what they do.        Most of us forget about even the most violent offenders after the media stories disappear or they are sent away to prison and are no longer right in front of us.  Correctional Officers still have to face them every single day.  They have to walk among them most of the time with only

We've always had a tough time keeping up with and storing Easter baskets.  Either I forget where I put them, they get repurposed as storage or they are somehow damaged or broken.  This year I decided to make the entire basket edible so that the only thing left to throw away was the annoying grass and the piece of cardboard at the bottom! I was in a rush and forgot to take pictures of the step by step process but it is pretty simple and straight forward.  (I will also try to find the video tutorial I got the idea from and add the link at the bottom.) You will Need: 4 boxes of Candy (The movie theatre style boxes) 1 (maybe 2) Rope Style Candy (for the handle) Glue Gun (Can use Packing Tape) Scrap piece of Cardboard Your candy boxes should be the same size.
