Edible Easter Baskets

We've always had a tough time keeping up with and storing Easter baskets.  Either I forget where I put them, they get repurposed as storage or they are somehow damaged or broken.  This year I decided to make the entire basket edible so that the only thing left to throw away was the annoying grass and the piece of cardboard at the bottom!
I was in a rush and forgot to take pictures of the step by step process but it is pretty simple and straight forward.  (I will also try to find the video tutorial I got the idea from and add the link at the bottom.)
You will Need:

4 boxes of Candy (The movie theatre style boxes)
1 (maybe 2) Rope Style Candy (for the handle)
Glue Gun (Can use Packing Tape)
Scrap piece of Cardboard

Your candy boxes should be the same size. If they aren't atleast make sure that the you have 2 pair of each size. (For mine, the sides were taller than the front/back and it still worked out fine.)
First you will want to glue the boxes of candy together.
After you get all 4 boxes glued together measure and cut your cardboard.
Glue it to the boxes of candy.
Glue or Tape the rope candy to the inside of each side let it dry and you're ready to fill it!

I recommend using a glue gun or tape because the Elmers Glue or Tacky Glue takes longer to dry and you will have to hold the sides together until the glue bonds with the glossy sides of the boxes.

It cost us about $5 to make each basket not including the fillers.  And they only take a few minutes to put together.  Best of all the kids loved them!
